Dr Kristen McLellan Weed is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy in the Dietetics, Nutrition & Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Radiography Division.

Originally from Maine, USA, Dr Kristen Weed has studied and worked across North America and the UK. She completed her undergraduate studies at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, physiotherapy training at Leeds Beckett University, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Montana.
Kristen is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at QMU and continues to work clinically as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Her practice focuses on supporting people to return to meaningful activities, from everyday community participation to sport and exercise. Her interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, physical activity promotion, clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and physiotherapy education.
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys trail running, wild swimming, surfing and exploring the outdoors, interests that inform her clinical passion for helping people stay active throughout their lives.
